Gold hits all-time high, 10 grams now priced at ₹99,214: Up by ₹23,052 since January; could reach ₹1.03 lakh by year-end.
Gold hits an all-time high on June 16, reaching ₹99,214 per 10 grams. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold rose by ₹156 from its previous price of ₹99,058. Just a few days earlier, on June 13, it had touched a record of ₹99,170.
Meanwhile, silver prices also surged by ₹323, reaching ₹1,06,490 per kilogram, up from ₹1,06,167. On June 10, silver had recorded its highest-ever price at ₹1,07,000 per kilogram.

Since January 1, 2025, the price of 24K gold (10 grams) has risen from ₹76,162 to ₹99,214 — a jump of ₹23,052.
Silver has also surged from ₹86,017/kg to ₹1,06,490/kg, up ₹20,473.
By comparison, gold became costlier by ₹12,810 in the entire year of 2024.
