City intimation slip released
The Railway Recruitment Boards released the RRB Group D Exam City Intimation Slip for CEN No. 09/2025 on July 23-24, 2026. Candidates can log in through their respective regional RRB website using their registration number and date of birth or password to check their allotted examination city, exam date and shift.

What this slip actually tells you — and doesn't
The city intimation slip is purely an advance travel-planning document — it confirms your exam city, date and shift so you can arrange travel and accommodation ahead of time. It is not a valid admit card and cannot be used to enter the examination centre. SC/ST candidates can also download their Travel Authority certificate through the same login portal, where applicable.

When the actual admit card comes out
The RRB Group D Admit Card (E-Call Letter) will be released on July 31, 2026, roughly four days before each candidate's respective exam date, through the candidate login portal. This is the document that's mandatory for entry into the exam hall — candidates must carry a printed copy along with a valid photo ID.

Exam schedule
The Computer-Based Test will be conducted across multiple shifts on 17 dates spread between August 3 and August 21, 2026 — specifically August 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 — covering 22,195 Group D (Level 1) vacancies under the 7th CPC pay structure.

How to check your city slip
Visit your respective zonal RRB's official website, find the CEN 09/2025 Exam City Intimation Slip link, log in with your registration number and password or date of birth, complete the security verification, and download the slip for your records.

What candidates should do now
With the exam window opening in under two weeks, candidates should download and save both the city intimation slip and, once available on July 31, the admit card — checking every detail (name, exam city, shift, reporting time) carefully against their original application. Any discrepancy should be flagged to the relevant RRB immediately rather than close to the exam date, when there's little time left to resolve errors.
