Bank of India announced recruitment for 514 Credit Officer positions in its General Banking stream on Tuesday, with online applications set to begin December 20, 2025, and run through January 5, 2026.
The vacancies span three scales: 418 in Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II), 60 in MMGS-III, and 36 in Senior Management Grade Scale-IV (SMGS-IV). Successful candidates can earn monthly salaries ranging from ₹64,820 to ₹1,20,940, depending on the level, plus allowances.
Applicants must hold a graduation degree with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved categories) from a recognised university. Preferred qualifications include CA, CFA, MBA in finance, or equivalent. Relevant banking experience is required, varying by scale—from three years for MMGS-II to eight for SMGS-IV, with emphasis on credit processing in MSME, corporate, or commercial lending.
Age limits, calculated as of November 1, 2025, are 25-35 years for MMGS-II, 28-38 for MMGS-III, and 30-40 for SMGS-IV, with relaxations for reserved categories.
Selection involves an online exam—covering English, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and professional knowledge—followed by interviews for shortlisted candidates. The 150-mark test lasts two hours, with negative marking of one-fourth for wrong answers.
Application fees are ₹850 for general and OBC candidates, ₹175 for SC/ST/PWD.
Interested professionals can apply via the Careers section on bankofindia.co.in, registering, uploading documents, paying fees, and printing the form.
The drive targets experienced officers to bolster the bank's credit operations amid growing demand for specialised roles in public sector lending.
