Government Job: IOCL Opens Recruitment for 2,755 Apprentice Posts; Applications Close Today

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited applications for 2,755 apprentice positions across its refineries, with December 18, 2025, being the final date to apply. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official IOCL website, iocl.com, or via the Apprenticeship Portal.

The apprenticeship training programme will be conducted for a period ranging from 12 to 24 months, depending on the trade and location.

  • Bongaigaon Refinery: 142 posts

  • Guwahati Refinery: 82 posts

Total Vacancies: 2,755

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Class 12, or hold an ITI certificate or Diploma in the relevant discipline, as prescribed for each post.

Age Limit

  • Unreserved/EWS: 18 to 24 years

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 27 years

  • SC/ST: Up to 29 years

  • PwBD (UR/EWS): Up to 34 years

Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a stipend in accordance with the Apprenticeship Rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a merit list prepared from qualifying examination marks, followed by document verification and a medical examination.

Documents Required

Applicants must keep ready their matriculation certificate for date of birth proof, relevant caste or EWS certificates (where applicable), PwBD certificate, PAN or Aadhaar card, a recent passport-size photograph, and a signature in blue ink.
