According to the Commission Secretary, detailed guidelines regarding the documents required with the application form during the interview have also been issued on the website. Candidates must bring two copies of the online-filled detailed application form, the attestation form, service preference order, and one set of supporting documents along with the original certificates.

This recruitment drive is for 1,096 posts, with 2,461 candidates advancing to the interview stage.

Increase in Vacancies
The RPSC initially announced 733 posts when the recruitment advertisement was released on 2 September 2024. Applications closed on 18 October after 6.75 lakh candidates applied.

The preliminary exam was held on 2 February 2025, with 3,75,657 candidates appearing. Results were declared on 20 February, shortlisting 21,539 candidates for the mains exam held on 17 and 18 June 2025. The mains results, published on 8 October 2025, selected 2,461 candidates for interviews.

On 17 February 2025, the total number of posts was raised from 733 to 1,096—comprising 428 posts for state services and 668 for subordinate services.
