RPSC to Resume Online Exams After 7 Years: AYUSH Department Lecturer Recruitment to Begin
Digital Desk
After a gap of seven years, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is set to reintroduce online examinations. The process will begin with the Lecturer (AYUSH Department) Recruitment 2025, for which the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be held on January 12, 2026, from 12 noon to 2:30 PM
The recruitment drive covers nine lecturer posts across eight AYUSH subjects, including Agad Tantra, Kayachikitsa, Panchkarma, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Shalakya Tantra, Kaumarbhritya, Samhita (Basic Principles), and Swasthavritta. Applications for the positions were accepted until March 21, 2025.
Online exams to make a comeback
RPSC had first introduced online examinations in 2011, continuing the practice until 2018. During that period, the Commission conducted over 150 online exams, accommodating up to 15,000 candidates per session.
Custom software to ensure transparency
To enhance the credibility and transparency of online exams, RPSC developed its own software in 2013, titled “My Exam – My Online Review Yes.” The platform allowed candidates to review their online test performances — a feature unavailable earlier.
The upcoming AYUSH lecturer exam marks a major technological shift in RPSC’s recruitment process, signaling the Commission’s renewed push towards digital and transparent examination systems
