Congress Deletes 'Missing' Post on PM Modi After Backlash

Facing strong criticism, Congress deleted its controversial 'missing' post about Prime Minister Modi from X (formerly Twitter), exposing internal confusion and drawing sharp reactions from political circles.

The Congress party seems to be confused about its stand on the Pahalgam attack. Twice in the last week, the party had to issue instructions to its leaders, which makes it clear that the party has come on the backfoot. After the statements of the leaders on the Pahalgam attack, the Congress issued a circular, which said that only authorized leaders would make statements, and warned of strict disciplinary action against leaders who do not follow the instructions. Apart from this, the Congress on Monday released a controversial poster against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the social media platform X, which was removed after the controversy escalated. Through this post, the Congress had questioned the Prime Minister's absence in the all-party meeting called in the context of the Pahalgam terrorist attack.
The Congress had targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a social media post in the context of the Pahalgam attack, but has backed down after strong resistance from the BJP. A picture was shared from the official handle of Congress, which read "Missing at the time of responsibility." As soon as BJP leader Amit Malviya attacked Congress on this poster, Congress immediately removed it.

Congress party attacks PM Modi

Congress has continuously attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being absent in the all-party meeting. Congress President Mallikalarjun Kharge also targeted PM Modi and said that it is the misfortune of the country that when the security of the country was in danger, the Prime Minister was giving election speeches in Bihar. Meanwhile, many BJP leaders have reposted this statement of Congress and made serious allegations against them.

BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya questioned the Congress poster and said that the use of the picture of 'Sar Tan Se Juda' by Congress is not just a political statement, but it is a hidden attempt to attract the Muslim vote bank and incite against the Prime Minister. This is not the first time this has happened, which increases the seriousness of the issue.
