New Delhi. BJP has lashed out at senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge for accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of cancelling his Jammu and Kashmir visit after getting intelligence information before the Pahalgam terror attack.
The ruling BJP says that the Congress President's statement could not have been more irresponsible than this amid the growing tension with Pakistan. He has joined his party's brigade of statement braves on the issue of national security.
BJP leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters on Tuesday that Kharge should have controlled the foul-mouthed Congress leaders, but he himself has joined them. Congress had said this
On one hand, he says in the all-party meeting that he stands with the country and on the other hand, he is trying to weaken the country. A more disgusting statement could not have come from the president of the opposition party.
This is a very unfortunate and painful comment against Prime Minister Modi. He is showing double standards at a time when the government is preparing for a nationwide mock drill and the public is standing with the country.

Similarly, BJP leader CR Kesavan said that Kharge's claim that Prime Minister Modi had received the intelligence report three days before the Pahalgam attack is very disgusting. He should apologize to Modi ji for this.
