Speaking during a conversation with Cyrus Broacha, Shailendra said the incident took place during the period when he regularly met Salman Khan every Monday night. According to him, the actor appeared completely unfazed while receiving scalp injections, continuing his meal and conversation as though nothing unusual was happening.

Shailendra recalled that Salman would often sit at the dining table facing a large mirror installed opposite him. The mirror allowed him to maintain eye contact with people in the room while eating, making conversations possible even if they were standing elsewhere in the house.

According to the producer, a man entered the room wearing gloves before taking out a syringe and beginning to inject Salman's scalp. At the time, Shailendra said he had no idea what procedure was being performed and watched the entire scene in surprise.

Unable to understand what was happening, he asked Salman about the treatment. Shailendra recalled that the actor responded with a smile, saying, "There is a price to pay for being a star," before continuing to enjoy his meal and carry on the conversation without showing any discomfort.

The producer later learnt that Salman was undergoing Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, a cosmetic treatment commonly used to stimulate hair growth and reduce hair thinning.

Shailendra noted that the procedure was not widely known at the time and claimed it was considered illegal during that period. He added that PRP therapy has since become a common cosmetic treatment and is now used by many people experiencing hair loss or age-related thinning.

PRP therapy involves drawing a small amount of a person's blood and processing it through a centrifuge to separate platelet-rich plasma. The concentrated plasma is then injected into areas of the scalp where hair growth needs stimulation. The treatment is intended to encourage healthier hair follicles and reduce hair fall, although results may vary from person to person.

Shailendra Singh has worked on several notable projects during his career, including Kanchivaram, Firaaq, Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and Phir Milenge. He served as the creative producer of Phir Milenge, a film that featured Salman Khan alongside Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan.
