India Closes Airspace to Pakistani Aircraft Amid Escalating Tensions
In a significant move, India has closed its airspace to all Pakistani-registered aircraft, including military planes, effective from April 30 to May 23, 2025. This decision follows Pakistan's earlier ban on Indian airlines after a deadly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives.
Amidst India's possible military action on the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India has taken another big action against Pakistan. India has closed its airspace for Pakistan. Let us tell you that Pakistan had closed its airspace for India a few days ago. Now India has also banned the entry of Pakistani aircraft.
After the closure of Pakistan's airspace, its aircraft will suffer a huge financial loss. For example, earlier Pakistan's aircraft used to go to China, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and Sri Lanka using India's airspace, but now after the airspace is closed, its aircraft will have to travel a long distance to go to these countries again.
