Trump Says Allied Nations Will Teach Hamas a Lesson: Warns of Merciless Destruction if Hamas Continues Wrongdoing

US President Donald Trump stated that several Middle Eastern allies are prepared to “teach Hamas a lesson.” Posting on Truth Social, Trump said that if Hamas violates their agreement, these nations, at his urging, are eager to deploy a large military force into Gaza to “set Hamas straight.”

Trump said, “My allied countries have promised that if Hamas continues to misbehave, they will enter Gaza and correct the situation. The enthusiasm and support in the Middle East right now is unlike anything seen in thousands of years. It’s truly remarkable.”

He added that he has asked these countries and Israel to hold off for now, giving Hamas a chance to return to the right path. However, if Hamas makes a mistake, its downfall will be swift and merciless.

US Vice President Arrives in Israel to Support Ceasefire

US Vice President JD Vance arrived in Israel on Tuesday to bolster the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The peace deal was brokered by former President Trump on October 10. Vance is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss advancing the peace plan.

The White House confirmed that Vance will remain in Israel for three days, with the primary goal of ending the violence in Gaza and preserving the ceasefire. On Sunday, Hamas killed two Israeli soldiers, prompting retaliatory Israeli airstrikes in Gaza that killed several Palestinians.

Israeli Justice Minister Yariv Levin and US Ambassador Mike Huckabee greeted Vice President Vance at Tel Aviv airport.

Netanyahu: Israel Dropped 153 Tonnes of Bombs on Gaza

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told parliament that on October 19, Israeli forces dropped 153 tonnes of bombs on Gaza. He said the airstrikes were in response to Hamas violating the ceasefire and attacking Israeli soldiers — a claim denied by Hamas.

Netanyahu emphasized that Israel “holds a weapon in one hand and offers peace with the other.” He declared that Israel is stronger now than before and asserted that peace will come through strength. He reiterated that Hamas must be completely destroyed.

A senior US official added that once the conflict ends, Israel should assist the people of Gaza.

Gaza Reports 80 Israeli Ceasefire Violations in 10 Days

Officials in Gaza report that Israel has violated the ceasefire 80 times since it began, resulting in 97 deaths and 230 injuries.

Hamas claims it was not active in the areas targeted during these attacks, while Israel says it was responding to earlier Hamas assaults.

Since the war started in October 2023, approximately 68,200 people have died and 170,200 have been injured. Gaza faces severe shortages of food and water, leading to widespread hunger. Although the ceasefire remains in place, both sides continue to accuse each other of violations.
