IAF chief rejects Pak’s claimsSingh demands evidence; India shot down PAF’s F-16s and J-17s

Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh said on Friday that Pakistan's claims of shooting down Indian jets are mere fairy tales. If they have any evidence, they should show it. India has destroyed five of their fighter jets, including F-16s and J-17s.

AP Singh said, "The Indian Army penetrated 300 km into Pakistan and attacked. After the Pahalgam attack, we decided they would have to pay the price. The army was given free rein. We attacked with precision. Later, Pakistan itself agreed to a ceasefire."

This is the second time the Air Force Chief has disclosed Pakistan's losses. On August 9th, he stated that five Pakistani fighter jets were shot down during Operation Sindoor. Additionally, a surveillance aircraft was shot down from a range of approximately 300 kilometers. This is the highest-ever surface-to-air target hit.

On August 9, the Air Force Chief said that a key reason for the success was political will. "We were given very clear instructions. We had a free hand. We decided how far to proceed. We had complete freedom to plan and execute. There was coordination between the three services. The position of CDS really made a difference. He was there to bring us together."

It was a high-tech war. In 80 to 90 hours of fighting, we inflicted so much damage that they (Pakistan) clearly knew they would pay a much higher price if they continued, so they came forward and sent a message to our DGMO saying they wanted to talk. We accepted it.

Operation Sindoor....

India carried out air strikes on nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir at 1:30 a.m. on May 7th. The army stated that more than 100 terrorists were killed in the strikes. According to Pakistani state media, India attacked Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh, and Muzaffarabad. These targets included the headquarters of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and the hideout of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar.

On August 9, the Air Force Chief said, "The Army was given a free hand."

3 important things...

·         These are their fascinating stories: We showed them so many pictures of their places. But they couldn't show us a single one. These are their stories, "fascinating stories." Let them be happy; after all, they have to show something to their people to save their honor. I don't care.

·         Pakistan suffered significant damage: As for Pakistan's losses, we struck a large number of their airfields and installations. These attacks damaged radars at least four locations, command and control centers at two locations, and runways at two locations. Three hangars were also destroyed, and at least four to five fighter jets were destroyed.

·         New terrorist bases being built in Pakistan: On reports of new terrorist bases being built in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, AP Singh said, "Obviously, this was bound to happen. We're also getting reports that they may be building smaller structures instead of larger ones. But we can still destroy them and their bases. Therefore, our options haven't changed."
