Social Worker Dr. Vijay Kishore Bansal’s Mother, Mrs. Indra Bansal, Passes Away; Wave of Grief Across Social Circles

Indra Bansal, mother of renowned social worker and industrialist Dr. Vijay Kishore Bansal, passed away on Sunday morning. The news of her demise sent a wave of grief across the city’s social, religious, and business communities. A large number of people gathered at the family residence in Vijay Nagar Colony to offer their condolences.
Her last rites were performed in the evening at the Tajganj Electric Crematorium in the presence of family members, relatives, representatives of social organizations, and several dignitaries. On Monday, many people attended the condolence meeting held at Samadhi Park in Surya Nagar, Khandari, where they paid tribute to the departed soul and expressed sympathies.
Mrs. Indra Bansal was known for her simplicity, religious values, and strong moral character. She always prioritized family values, social harmony, and service to others. Her life reflected simplicity, warmth, compassion, and dedication toward humanity. She remained associated with the SANGH for a long time , due to which her inclination towards social and religious activities kept growing.
Apart from her spiritual inclination, she actively shared in the joys and sorrows of people around her. She was highly respected among neighbors and acquaintances for her gentle nature, affectionate behavior, and welcoming personality.
Dr. Vijay Kishore Bansal has long been associated with social and religious service activities. His contributions include the construction of a dharamshala in the Kaila Devi area, support for schools associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and service activities related to various gaushalas. Family associates stated that his inspiration for social service came from his mother, who always upheld the values of compassion and helping others.
The bereaved family includes her husband Giriraj Kishore Bansal; son Dr. Vijay Kishore Bansal and daughter-in-law Dolly Bansal; daughters Poonam Agarwal and Anil Agarwal, Ritu Prakash and Anand Prakash, and Rekha Agarwal and Sanjay Agarwal.
Several social organizations, trade associations, and prominent citizens of the city prayed for peace for the departed soul and said that Mrs. Indra Bansal’s life would continue to inspire future generations. They added that although she is no longer among us, her values, affection, and calm personality will always remain alive in people’s memories.
