Supreme Court Lawyers Read Constitution's Preamble, Protest Police Action on Students

The lawyers also called for accountability and urged the authorities to uphold constitutional principles while dealing with public demonstrations.

The protest remained peaceful, with participants gathering near the Supreme Court premises to voice their concerns. No untoward incidents were reported during the demonstration.
The protest comes amid wider reactions from student groups, civil society organisations and legal professionals over the handling of demonstrations linked to the Parliament march in Delhi.
