SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was going to the Election Commission of India with opposition leaders today. Meanwhile, he was stopped by putting up a barricade in the middle of the way. A discussion started between Akhilesh and the policemen about removing the barricade. The matter escalated so much that a scuffle started. The police tried to stop the opposition leaders. During this, Akhilesh Yadav jumped over the barricade. SP leader and Akhilesh’s uncle was overjoyed at his move.

What Akhilesh said

Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav accused the Election Commission of failing to take action against the large-scale irregularities including the UP elections. He said that the officers tried to "loot votes" in connivance with the ruling BJP. This comment came at a time when MPs of opposition parties including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Sharad Pawar marched from Parliament House to the Election Commission office.

Let us tell you that the MPs of India Block took out a march from Parliament to the Election Commission headquarters regarding 'VOTE CHORI'. Many veteran leaders including Rahul Gandhi-Priyanka were present in the march. However, on the way, Delhi Police stopped the march by barricading citing non-permission. After this the MPs sat on the road. Delhi Police has detained many MPs including Rahul-Priyanka and Akhilesh. Police has taken everyone in a van.
