He said that he was in a constitutional post and according to this he did a good job. Along with this, the Home Minister also rejected the claims of the opposition that he was under house arrest.

Let us tell you that Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned from the post of Vice President on the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament on July 21. The opposition had constantly questioned the government on his resignation.

The Home Minister said that Dhankhar ji was sitting on a constitutional post and during his tenure he did good work according to the Constitution. He has resigned due to health reasons. There is no need to stretch it too much and look in any other direction. When Amit Shah was asked about the opposition's claims of Jagdeep Dhankhar being put under house arrest, he said that the interpretation of truth and lies should not depend only on the statements of the opposition and warned against creating a ruckus over the resignation of the former Vice President.

Shah said, 'It seems that your interpretation of truth and lies is based on the statements of the opposition. We should not create a fuss over all this. Jagdeep Dhankhar was in a constitutional post and he discharged his duties according to the Constitution. He resigned due to personal health reasons. There should not be much discussion on this issue.
