The event began with CM Patel and other dignitaries taking a pledge to encourage the use of local goods. The Chief Minister also visited the festival’s stalls and signed a board highlighting Ahmedabad and Gujarat’s readiness for the 2030 Commonwealth Games.
A Spiritual Pavilion, featuring Mahaprasad from the Puri Jagannath Temple, was also inaugurated. Chief Minister Patel, Union Minister Pradhan, State Minister Rivaba Jadeja, Urban Development Minister Darshanaben Vaghela, MLAs, and BJP corporators partook in the Mahaprasad. Attendees were required to remove their footwear before receiving the sacred offering, in accordance with tradition.
