Newly Appointed BJP Gujarat President Visits Surat

Jagdish Vishwakarma (Panchal), the newly appointed Gujarat State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, visited Surat district for the first time after assuming his new role, receiving a warm reception from party leaders and workers.
Grand Welcome at Surat Airport
On arrival at Surat Airport, Vishwakarma was greeted with enthusiasm by senior BJP leaders and officials, including Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi, local MPs, MLAs, Minister Mukesh Patel, the Mayor, and the City BJP President, along with other party dignitaries.
Courtesy Visit and Traditional Snacks at C.R. Patil’s Residence
Following the airport reception, Vishwakarma headed straight to the residence of former Gujarat BJP President and Union Water Minister C.R. Patil. During this visit, he enjoyed light refreshments and traditional Gujarati delicacies such as moong dal dumplings, chili-onion fritters, and ghee-soaked saffron jalebi while exchanging pleasantries with Patil.
Rally and Felicitation at Bardoli
After visiting C.R. Patil’s residence, Vishwakarma proceeded to meet party workers across Surat district. Along the route, enthusiastic workers welcomed him at Kadodara crossroads. A rally and felicitation program has also been organized in Bardoli as part of his visit.
The trip has infused new energy and momentum into the BJP’s organizational activities in Surat and the wider South Gujarat region.
