Jatinder Singh's Plea to BCCI
Oman captain Jatinder Singh used the post-match press conference to make a heartfelt appeal to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for developmental support. The passionate leader requested access to India's premier cricket infrastructure to help elevate Oman's cricketing standards.
"If we can get India coming forward, letting us make their home our home. If we can train there, go to the NCAs (National Cricket Academy), train our skills, mental aspects, the fitness part, and play a lot of T20s with the club teams and Ranji teams, I think that will definitely help us," Singh stated during the press conference.
SKY's Mentoring Moment
The Oman skipper expressed immense gratitude for Suryakumar Yadav's gesture, revealing the depth of their conversation. "So thankful he came and just chatted with the boys. He was talking about the game and how you have to play T20 cricket. Everyone was asking questions so that the players would have clarity of thought. He was praising the team a lot."
