Raipur,C.G
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai left his convoy midway and walked on foot to attend a Garba pandal, surprising attendees with his gesture of humility and connection with the public.
Chief Minister Vishnudev's simplicity and gentleness can be gauged from the fact that he left his entire convoy of vehicles to worship and visit Maa Amba during Garba and proceeded on foot.
Late Monday night, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai arrived at the Patidar Bhavan in Bhanpuri, Raipur. After arriving as scheduled, his convoy turned back, and his security made further preparations as scheduled. Meanwhile, officials of the Shri Kutch Gurjar Kshatriya Samaj, also present in Bhanpuri, arrived and requested the Chief Minister to visit their Garba venue. The officials explained that they had visited the venue last year as well, and a large number of members of the community were waiting to welcome the Chief Minister.
As the Chief Minister's entire convoy had already turned toward its next destination, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai casually asked, "How far is your pandal from here?" The officials replied, "It's only 200-250 meters."
Then the Chief Minister began walking. The security personnel immediately instructed the staff to make further security arrangements. At the Garba venue, the Chief Minister visited Maa Ambe and accepted the greetings of community members and officials.
