Digital Desk
Indian creator Dolly Singh has become the only Indian creator to win Instagram's prestigious 2025 Rings Award, often referred to as the "Golden Ring" due to its signature digital and physical ring emblem. This milestone was announced on October 16, 2025, highlighting her as one of just 25 global winners selected for pushing creative boundaries and shaping culture through bold, original content.
It's a huge moment for Indian digital creators, as she stands out as the sole representative from India in this elite global list.
Dolly's Reaction
In her Instagram post, Dolly shared: "Being recognized with the Rings Award is so surreal that the feeling has still not sunk in. It’s definitely one of my career’s biggest moments yet, and a shiver goes down my spine; I get goosebumps every time I think about it. The jury panel for the award is impeccable and just the fact that these brilliant, genius minds have seen my content is unbelievable! I hope that I continue to make my audiences proud with the content I continue to make."
She also reflected on Instagram as her "playground," where she started with fashion, pivoted to comedy, and now dives into bigger narratives. Other global winners include creators like Zarna Garg, Aki and Koichi, and Olivia Dean, but Dolly's the trailblazer for India.
