In a critical moment, Iran found itself abandoned by long-time allies China and Russia. Despite past alliances, both nations distanced themselves, leaving Iran diplomatically isolated when support was most needed.

After the US attack on Iran, China and Russia did not give military support to Iran. China appealed for peace while Russia issued limited statements. This exposed the truth of Iran-China-Russia friendship. This friendship is based on strategic convenience and not on true cooperation. Russia did not provide fighter jets, China did not send military material.

A week after the US B-2 bombers dropped 30,000 pound 'bunker busters' on three nuclear sites of Iran, the fear of war in West Asia decreased, but another story came to the fore, the silence of Iran's 'friends' China and Russia.
