"The NEET-2026 paper leak is another example of the failure to conduct fair and transparent examinations. Repeated paper leaks and irregularities have affected the future of lakhs of students across the country," the protesters alleged.

Demands for Accountability

During the demonstration, participants demanded accountability from authorities over alleged examination irregularities and called for reforms to restore trust in the country's recruitment and entrance examination process.

They also urged the government to protect the democratic right to peaceful protest, stating that public concerns should be addressed through discussion rather than coercive measures.

The protest remained peaceful throughout the event. Students continued raising slogans while police personnel were deployed at the venue to maintain law and order. No untoward incidents were reported during the demonstration.
