Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will be on a three-day visit to the US from Tuesday. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this visit is taking place after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Washington in February. During his visit, Misri will meet senior officials of the US administration and discuss furthering the India-US Compact program.

The Ministry said that Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will visit Washington DC from May 27-29 and will meet senior officials of the US administration.
This visit is taking place after the Prime Minister's visit to the US in February, when both sides launched the India-US Compact for the 21st Century (Promoting Opportunities for Military Partnership, Accelerated Commerce and Technology) program.
