Congress's demand - Prime Minister should also come to the meeting

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has said about the all-party meeting organized by the government after Operation Sindoor that this time the Prime Minister should attend the meeting. He reminded that an appeal was made to the Prime Minister on April 24 as well, but he did not come to the meeting at that time. Jairam Ramesh told that on behalf of the Congress, the party's national president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will attend this meeting.

Pawan Khera said that the Prime Minister should attend the meeting, so that the message goes out that he is discussing together with all the leaders of the opposition. He also mentioned that when the country speaks unitedly, the world will have to listen to its voice. Apart from this, Pawan Khera, referring to the attacks on innocent people of Pakistan, said that Gurudwaras are also being attacked there. He clarified that this is the difference between the two countries; we are taking action on terrorist hideouts, while Pakistan is targeting our innocent citizens.

A day before the all-party meeting, a meeting of the Congress Working Committee was held. After this meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi praised the courage of the army and said that they stand with the army and the government. Kharge also made it clear that there are no differences on this issue and we will all face this challenge unitedly.

Prime Minister Modi chose the name 'Operation Sindoor'

The attack on 9 terrorist hideouts by the Indian Armed Forces in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir (PoK) has been named 'Operation Sindoor', which was chosen by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to official sources, this operation was launched in response to the killing of 26 civilians in Pahalgam on April 22, in which all the deceased were men. In view of this incident, the name 'Operation Sindoor' was considered appropriate keeping in mind the pain of the wives of the deceased. The government said the targets were hit between 1.05 am and 1.30 am, with precision missile and drone strikes on targets in Pakistan and PoK, including Jaish-e-Mohammed hideouts in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke. Prime Minister Modi monitored the operation overnight and later praised the armed forces in the weekly meeting of the Union Cabinet. According to sources, it was the Prime Minister's suggestion to name this military operation 'Operation Sindoor' to avenge the killing of civilians in Pahalgam, inspired by the 'sindoor' used by married women in Indian tradition.
