Shreya Bediya, a young achiever from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has earned a coveted place among the finalists of the prestigious Miss Universe India 2026pageant, bringing pride to both her city and the state. Representing a new generation of ambitious and socially conscious young women, Shreya exemplifies the values of perseverance, confidence, and meaningful social impact. Born to Govind Bediya and Neelam Bediya, Shreya completed her early education in Indore before moving to New Delhi to pursue her passion for fashion and modeling. Through dedication and hard work, she has established herself in both the national and international fashion industry.

Beyond her accomplishments as a model, Shreya believes that true beauty lies in creating a positive impact on society. Guided by this philosophy, she has been actively working for the past three years to support the education of underprivileged children in collaboration with Leelawati Future Creation School and Niranjana School. 

As part of her "Beauty With a Purpose" initiative, Shreya is committed to expanding access to quality education for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. To further this mission, she has launched a fundraising campaign through Ketto, inviting individuals and organizations to contribute toward providing educational opportunities for children in need. She firmly believes that even small acts of generosity can transform a child's future.
Her dedication to social service has also received national recognition. Shreya was honoured by Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, in recognition of her sustained contribution to education and community welfare.

Ahead of the Miss Universe India 2026 finale, Shreya shared her thoughts "For me, this is far more than a beauty pageant—it is an opportunity to represent my state, my parents, and my country with pride. Standing on a national platform comes with great responsibility and inspires me to work even harder. This is not my destination; it is the beginning of a new journey. I want every young woman and every dreamer from a small town to know that your dreams are never limited by where you come from. With courage, integrity, and consistent hard work, no stage in the world is beyond your reach."
