ED Raid: Vijay Sharma Hits Back at Bhupesh

Deputy CM Vijay Sharma responded sharply to Bhupesh Baghel’s remarks on ED raids, stating that the Enforcement Directorate is a central agency acting against corruption. He emphasized that no one involved in wrongdoing will be spared.

State Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma has retorted on the statement of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, which came after the action of Enforcement Directorate (ED). He said that ED is a central institution. ED is working on the corruption that happened in the past.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, while talking to the media before the last session of the Assembly, said on Bhupesh Baghel's statement about ED that ED has its own investigation, the liquor scam happened here, the concept of this was also spread to other states, Delhi-Jharkhand. We know. There must have been some similar case, due to which ED has come.

On the statement given about ED, he said that such statements about the big institutions of the country weaken the system of the country. (Bhupesh Baghel) remember the day when he got the Election Commission to do all the work. Remember the day of 1975, when the Emergency was imposed. Remember those days when no one knew about the Election Commission. Today you are talking about the Election Commission. Today the Election Commission is working constitutionally.

On the opposition raising the liquor scam in the House, Home Minister Vijay Sharma said that the opposition can raise any question. Opposition on any logical issue is welcome in the Vishnu Dev government.

Let us tell you that after the ED raid, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while giving a statement to the media said that today is my son's birthday. Last year ED was sent on my birthday. Today the Adani matter is to be raised in the Assembly, and to please their master, Modi and Shah have sent ED to my house.
