Udhayanidhi alleged that Vijay’s response in the Assembly was more focused on political statements and blame-shifting rather than addressing questions raised by the Opposition. He advised the Chief Minister to prepare better for future Assembly sessions.

The remarks came after a tense Assembly session in which Vijay made allegations against the DMK while responding to Opposition criticism. During his speech, Vijay referred to allegations linked to the Enforcement Directorate and accused the DMK of corruption through party funds.
