RSS Centenary Year: Hindu Conferences Across 2,000 Locations in Chhattisgarh, Major Outreach Plans Unveiled

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has entered its centenary year, marking 100 years of its foundation with a series of significant events across Chhattisgarh. Starting from Vijayadashami (October 2), the Sangh will embark on a year-long celebration aimed at strengthening its grassroots presence and expanding outreach among youth and communities statewide.

This year, RSS has announced over 2,000 Hindu conferences at city, block, and village levels in Chhattisgarh. These events, focused on social cohesion and cultural identity, are part of seven major initiatives celebrating the Sangh’s centenary until next Vijayadashami. According to senior RSS leader Prant Sangh Chalak Tope Lal Verma, the 2025-26 programs will especially target areas and families familiar with the Sangh but currently not active participants.

Key initiatives include “Vijayadashami Utsav” with route marches involving thousands of volunteers including an expected 12,000 in Raipur door-to-door campaigns aiming to reach 50 lakh households, and large-scale “youth conferences” engaging Generation Z and social media influencers. The Sangh's ambitious goal is to expand its weekly shakhas by establishing branches in over 100 new villages.

The campaign, titled “Every Village, Every Settlement, Every Home,” will be executed from November 2025 to January 2026, featuring three-week door-to-door engagement where volunteers share RSS’s mission and distribute literature among families.

Another major focus is the ‘Panch Parivartan’ (Five Transformations) movement, highlighting family strengthening, environmental conservation, social unity, responsible citizenship, and self-awareness. Public meetings and “harmony gatherings” with social workers and saints will emphasize preserving cultural roots while embracing modern life.

By connecting deeply with Gen Z through digital platforms and influencer outreach, RSS aims to blend tradition with modern values, further intensifying its presence in Chhattisgarh and across India during its centenary celebrations.
