Government Job: UP Police Announces 1,352 Computer Operator Vacancies; Applications Open

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1,352 Computer Operator Grade-A posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised board. In addition, candidates should possess an ‘O’ Level Computer Diploma.

Age Limit

Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age: 28 years
Age will be calculated as on 1 July 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government norms.

SC, ST: ₹400

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include a written examination, followed by document verification.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a monthly pay scale of ₹25,500 to ₹81,100, along with admissible allowances.

Exam Pattern

General Knowledge: 40 questions (50 marks)
Mental Ability and Reasoning: 40 questions (50 marks)
Computer Science: 80 questions (100 marks)
Total: 160 questions carrying 200 marks

Typing Test

English: 30 words per minute
Hindi: 25 words per minute
