Eligibility and Age Criteria
Applicants must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or possess an ITI certificate from a recognized institution to be eligible for the Group D posts. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 33 years, with age relaxation applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.
Application Schedule and Process
The online registration window opened in January 2026 and will remain active for several weeks, allowing candidates sufficient time to complete the process. Interested applicants must first complete the One-Time Registration (OTR), after which they can fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and post preferences. Uploading scanned copies of photographs and signatures in the prescribed format is mandatory before final submission.
The application fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Fee concessions are available for SC, ST, PwBD, female candidates, and ex-servicemen, in line with existing recruitment rules.
Selection Process
The RRB Group D 2026 selection process will involve multiple stages, beginning with a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates qualifying the CBT will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by document verification and a medical examination. Final selection will be based on merit and fulfillment of all eligibility conditions.
