Kanha National Park is the only place in Madhya Pradesh where efforts are being made to connect children to the mainstream through education, which was named Kanha Jungle Mitra Puskalaya. The library was started from Samanpur of Kanha Tiger Reserve, now it has expanded and 4 more institutions have been opened. Where children can study competitive exams for free for 12 months. On visiting the library Kisli Bhilwani, it was seen that in this library, books for competitive exams are made available to the poor children of the tribal area who do not have access to them. These books are also collected through groups and kept in the library. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also praised this unique initiative.
Commendable step of the Forest Department
There is an atmosphere of happiness among the children reaching the library. They are also not missing out on praising the free library house in the Tiger Reserve. The facilities that the Forest Department is providing to the children of the tribal area are very commendable. A unique initiative of Kanha National Park has been started in Kisli Bhilwani of Kanha Tiger Reserve where children are being prepared for competitive exams free of cost. Children are provided with all those books which are proving to be useful for their competitive exams.
