MP Weather Alert: Heavy Rain to Lash State Till July-End

Madhya Pradesh residents, stay alert! The month will end with intense rainfall as heavy showers are forecasted for the next four days. Red, orange, and yellow alerts have been issued in 53 districts today. Stay safe and avoid waterlogged areas.

Heavy rains continue in Madhya Pradesh. Flood-like conditions have been created in many districts of the state. Narmada river is flowing above the danger mark. Today, red, orange and yellow alerts have been issued for very heavy and heavy rains in 53 districts of MP. There is a possibility of torrential rains in the state for the next four days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the strongest system of monsoon this season is active. Due to low pressure area, two monsoon troughs and two cyclonic circulations, a strong system of rain has been formed in Madhya Pradesh. Due to which clouds will rain in many districts.

Red-orange alert inthese districts
Today, on Sunday, it will rain in 53 districts of the state. Red alert has been issued for heavy rain in Shivpuri and Ashoknagar and orange alert for very heavy rain has been issued in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Ujjain, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dewas, Sehore, Guna, Vidisha, Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind and Datia.

Flood like situation, Narmada river at danger mark

Flood like situation in many districts of MP, Narmada river is flowing above danger mark. Heavy rains occurred in more than 35 districts including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain. Houses and shops were flooded in Dabra of Gwalior, Ashta of Sehore. Life has been disrupted due to heavy rains, many roads have been closed.
