Finance Company Fraud Worth Lakhs: Municipal Employee Among 3 Arrested

A major financial fraud involving lakhs of rupees has been uncovered, allegedly carried out in collusion with finance company employees. Three accused, including a municipal worker, have been arrested in the case.
A case has come to light in which 5 employees and 11 customers of Shriram Finance Corporation Private Limited company took a fake loan and defrauded Rs 48 lakh. In the case, Kotwali police station has registered a case against the accused under sections 419, 420, 468, 467, 471, 120 (B) and arrested three accused. One of the accused is a municipal employee.
In fact, when the loan installments stopped and the employees reached the fixed address for recovery, the fraud was revealed. The shops where the employees had reached turned out to be of other people. Vikram Chauhan, manager of Shriram Finance Company, said that the accused had taken a loan from the finance company in connivance with the bank employee on the basis of fake documents. After the matter came to light, the company conducted an investigation at its own level. In which it was found that this fraud took place between 23 September 2023 and 25 June 2024.
