Congress Appoints District In-Charges: Mohammad Akbar Gets Balodabazar, Shiv Dahria Assigned Raipur

The Congress party has announced new district in-charges across Chhattisgarh. Mohammad Akbar has been given the responsibility of Balodabazar, while Shiv Dahria will oversee party affairs in Raipur. The full list of appointments has been released.

 

After the instructions of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, now PCC Chief Deepak Baij has appointed district in-charges. Appointments have been made in all 33 districts for the reorganization of divisional and sector committees. Former minister Shiv Dahria has been made in-charge of Raipur city and rural. Former minister Mohammad Akbar Baloda Bazar, Ravindra Choubey Durg Bhilai, Umesh Patel Bilaspur, Mohan Markam have been made in-charge of Jagdalpur. A list has been released in this regard.

The district in-charges will form divisional and sector committees by holding meetings with the district executive, block Congress committee and district presidents of front organizations in their respective districts. In this process, necessary advice will be taken from MPs, former MPs, MLAs, former MLAs and senior leaders. The process for the formation of committees has to be completed in the stipulated time and at the same time continuous information about the progress has to be given. The block in-charge will monitor the entire process.

The order also stated that as per the resolution passed in the Udaipur Navsankalp camp, it will be mandatory to give equitable representation to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Minorities and Women in these committees. One person each from the age group of above 50 years and below 50 years will have to be included in each committee. The date of 31st July has been fixed for the formation of all the scheduled divisional committees.
